Hecho en Dallas is an annual juried exhibition designed to showcase the recent work of professional artists who reside and are active in the artistic environment of the Dallas area. The exhibition was conceived by the Latino Cultural Center in recognition of the talented pool of artists whose creative endeavors give vitality to the cultural movement in DFW.
This annual juried exhibition has been a hallmark of the LCC’s exhibition program since the center opened in 2003. Hecho en Dallas (Made in Dallas) showcases recent work by Dallas and North Texas artists.
The jurors are: Maria Teresa Garcia Pedroche, Head of Family Experiences and Community Engagement at the Dallas Museum of Art
Peter Doroshenko, Director, Dallas Contemporary
Dr. Roberto Tejada, Endowed Professor of Art History, Southern Methodist University.
